Recycling/ ARC/ Pantry Cleaner

One man, throughout the week



1. Be certain that there are recycling bins on all floors. Stephenson recycles pop cans, tin cans, white paper, newspaper, mixed paper and cardboard. 

2. Everyday (set time with the Proctor) check if there has been a delivery. If there has, break down the boxes and store them Between the Meat Freezer and Deli fridge. Most deliveries occur on Fridays 

3. On Tuesday nights collect all recyclables from the Bathrooms, Rec Room, 1st Floor, Dining room, kitchen, and pantry. Once taken replace the liners. Recyclables should be put in a clear plastic bag and left in front of the stairs by Battenfeld. No matter how little has been collected in the week please take it out anyway. Pick up is Wednesday morning 

4. Clean the ARC’s tables twice a week with All-in-One; be sure to get under the keyboard, monitor, mouse pad, and printer 

5. Organize the used paper in order to be recycled 

6. Pick up any trash on the floor 

7. Empty ARC trashcan and replace liner. Place the used trash bags into the big dumpster next to the building 

8. First sweep and then mop the floor in the ARC and Pantry 

a. Rinse out mop and bucket 

b. Wring out mop 

c. When finished hang the mop on the clothesline in the Laundry Room 

9. Wash and dry the dirty towels for both the grill and general use. Grill towels can be found in the Kitchen broom closet. The Proctor will give you a wash card to pay for the laundry. Be sure to wash the towels in two different loads 

10. Sweep and mop laundry room floor 

a. Rinse out mop and bucket 

b. Wring out mop 

c. When finished hang the mop on the clothesline in the Laundry Room

If you are out of any supply, let the Proctor or SHD know as soon as possible
