2nd/3rd Floor Hallway and Shower Cleaner

2nd and 3rd Floor Shower/ Hallway Cleaner

One man per floor, three times per week. Set time with the Proctor.

Before cleaning be sure to put on latex gloves, and check to make sure you have everything you need. It is good to always have trashcan liners, mop heads, and extra gloves on hand. If you have run out of anything, go to the laundry room for more. A set of chemicals should always be available, and the custodial staff will make sure that all of the bottles are filled up daily.

1. Remove hair from drains

2. Remove and Discard any empty shampoo or soap bottles

3. Use clear/green All in One on window sill and shelves. Spray and let sit then wipe down with a sponge

4. Remove shelf from shower room

5. Spray blue/purple Bathroom Cleaner on the entire shower, including walls, floors, faucets, stall walls, curtain bars, shower doorway, and the drain. Let sit.

6. Use shower scrubber (Pad on long handle) to scrub the entire shower (everything you just sprayed). Use a small green scrubber pad in hard to reach places such as corners, and for the faucets and curtain bar. Make sure that the surfaces are appropriate colour and there should be no questionable red, blue, green, yellow, purple, orange, or black stuff left growing on the floor or walls.

7. Put shelf back in shower room

8. Rinse out scrubbers and sponges and put back in hall closet

9. Ever Wednesday custodial will wash the shower curtains. Before Wednesday take down the curtains and put them downstairs in the laundry room. Clean curtains can be found in the supply closet on your respective floor.
