1st Floor Bathroom Cleaner

1st Floor Bathroom Cleaner

One man, three times per week. Set time with the Proctor.

 

Before cleaning be sure to put on latex gloves, and check to make sure you have everything you need. It is good to always have trashcan liners, mop heads, and extra gloves on hand. If you have run out of anything, go to the laundry room for more. A set of chemicals should always be available, and the custodial staff will make sure that all of the bottles are filled up daily.

 



1. Clean the Shower

a. Remove all hair from drain

b. Discard any empty soap or shampoo bottles

c. Spray all surfaces with blue/purple Bathroom Cleaner and let sit

d. Use the bathroom scrubber on the walls and floor until clean

e. Use a green scrubber pad on hard to reach places and shower faucet and knobs

f. Rinse out scrubbers and scrubber pads

2. Clean Entire Toilets and Urinals

a. Flush all Toilets and Urinals

b. Spray outside of toilets and urinals with blue/purple Bathroom Cleaner and let sit then wipe down. Be sure to get the base of toilets and urinals as well the flushers and backs

c. Spray Toilet bowl cleaner in the toilet and urinal bowls and then scrub with toilet bowl brush

d. Rinse out brush when done.

3. Clean the Stalls

a. Spray clear/green All in One on all stall walls,

4. Clean the Sinks and Mirrors

a. Spray the entire sinks, including base and faucet, with blue/purple Bathroom Cleaner and let sit. Wipe down with rag

b. Once a week be sure to pour Lime-Away down the drains

c. Spray blue Glass Cleaner on mirrors and window and wipe with paper towels

5. Take Out the trash if needed and replace liner. Take trash out to dumpster besides building

6. Sweep every day that you clean

a. Pick up all trash or paper on floor

b. Sweep

c. When finished stand the broom in the 1st floor supply closet with the head towards the ceiling.

7. Mop every day that you clean with Synthetic Floor Cleaner.

a. Rinse out mop and bucket

b. Wring out mop

c. When finished stand the mop in the 1st floor supply closet with the head towards the ceiling.

8. Replace toilet paper, paper towels, and hand soap when needed regardless if it is during your set shift time.
 

 

If you are out of any supply, let the Proctor or SHD know as soon as possible.
