Key Positions

Each year, the following Key Positions should be filled by the PAC:
President:
-Prepare agendas for monthly PAC meetings 
-Attend & chair monthly PAC meetings 
-Open & respond to mail (once a week) 
-Communicate with other committee members regarding event organization and finances
 
Vice President:
-Assume Presidential duties when President unable to attend meetings or events
 
Treasurer:
-Reconcile bank statements (once a month)
-Prepare and present brief financial reports/summaries monthly
-Arrange cash float for events (Bingo, Year End BBQ)
-Contact parents in regards to any NSF cheques that are returned from the bank
-Prepare and submit application for Gaming Funds (done in June each year)
-Maintain orderly system of cash flow and receipts
 
Secretary:
-Take attendance & minutes of the meetings
-Type up & post minutes prior to next meeting
 
Fundraiser
-Organize fundraising events which may include but are not limited to: QSP, Chocolate Sales, Plant Sale, M&M Meatshop weekends
-Present new ideas to the PAC for other fundraisers
-Collect & organize money from each fundraiser and hand in to the Treasurer
 
Hot Lunch Co-ordinator:
-Arrange for healthy lunches to be provided by a local restaurant
-Distribute order forms to students
-Collect order forms and payment from the students
-Organize volunteers for distribution of the lunches on Hot Lunch Day
-Collect & organize money from each hot lunch and hand in to the Treasurer
 
Key Communicator
-Attend District Key Communicator meetings generally held at the School District Administration Office - Boardroom beginning at 9:30am (5-6 meetings per year)
-Present to PAC any pertinent information from the Key Communicator meetings
 
DPAC Representative:
-Attend District PAC meetings generally held at the School District Administration Office - Boardroom beginning at 7:07pm (6-7 meetings per year)
-Present to PAC any pertinent information from the D-PAC meetings
 
CPFF Representative:
-Attend Canadian Parents For French meetings
-Present to PAC any pertinent information from the meetings
 
Members At Large
-Enter in discussions/voting regarding events, fundraisers and purchasing
-Attend and assist at events (as possible)
 
All key position members should try to attend all 8-9 yearly PAC meetings.
