The T-STEM Network is proud to announce its fourth annual STEM conference, January 19-21, 2010, at the Renaissance Hotel in Austin Texas. Educators, researchers, industry leaders, STEM Coalitions, P-16 Council members, and others from across the
nation will gather to discuss increasing student access and success in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education with the goal
of improving student pathways for college and career readiness. The 2011 STEM Conference will focus on “bridging” research and practice at all levels
of STEM education.
STEM 2011 will also help educators, counselors, researchers, and policymakers (Administrators, etc.) explore the latest in STEM instructional
strategies, assessments, and the use of technology to better serve students. The conference includes opportunities for those working in all levels of
STEM Education to present their ideas.

- National and international speaker and advocate for pre-college STEM education
- Honored in 2009 by the Massachusetts High Technology Council as a “Women to Watch”
- 2014 NAEP Technology and Engineering Steering Committee
- Served on the design team for technology and engineering for National Research Council (NRC) Framework for Science Education
Continuing Education Credit is available for participating educators. A special room rate for conference participants has been arranged at the Renaissance Hotel in the Arboretum in Austin, TX. Austin is in the heart of Texas and is the Live Music Capital of the world. After hours, conference participants can enjoy one of the most vibrant cities in the world. |
