Introduction:
Modelling and Simulation of metallurgical processes has gained large significance in the continual efforts to optimise technological processes, reduced production costs and increased steel quality. At relatively low cost, physical and numerical modelling may be employed to effectively analyse the fundamentals of the metallurgical processes as well as to visualise them. Use of modern computer technology simulating the technological conditions present in the metallurgical processes are necessary to guarantee significant progress in this field.
