Program Requirements - Junior Year/ Confirmation
Public School and Catholic School Students: Sacramental preparation does not take place in the Catholic schools. “The parish is the center for initiation and is the place where adult faith is lived out.”1 Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation explores the meaning of the Sacrament itself, and prepares candidates for the Gift of Christ’s self received in that sacrament. This gift equips us to live as Catholics and followers of Christ in the World. That “world” is not limited to one’s high school community. Therefore, all public and Catholic school students are expected to attend all scheduled sessions: large group, Confirmation preparation, off-campus events, service projects, and retreat.
