THIS IS THE SECOND IN THE PROCESS OF "RE-CREATING" TSCP. OPEN TO "STAR HOLDERS" AND FRIENDS OF TSCP.
THIS IS WHERE THE TIRE MEETS THE PAVEMENT

Tea & Plays: 2nd Thursday evenings, April 9, 7  PM - Next meeting will be WEDNESDAY May 13 . RSVP for address: doclezlie_at_gmail.com The idea is to be

informal, but serious, meet once a month and work out scenes, read aloud, and to discuss what we need to do to make our writing work.  Because this is about plays & TSCP only does musicals, directors and composers are welcome, but the focus is on writing.  Poetry created for performance is welcome -- but --  it is not the main focus. TSCP will sponsor this monthly "Tea & Plays" as playwrights did found this troupe to do our work in, but (certainly)  it isn't closed to people who aren't TSCPers. We will move from home to home or meet in cafes. Grounds rules are:  This is not a support group or a "critiquing circle" * Drop in and out as you need to, but stay long enough that we know who you are * No novels, novellas, shorts, or other prose. * Be kind, but honest.* Bring a snack.

Lezlie Kinyon (2006 - Founding Member)
presented this paper https://sites.google.com/site/mythandtheatre/myth-and-theatre at The Southwest Texas/Popular Culture/American Culture Association in Albuquerque on February 25. She published an essay for The Internet Review of Science Ficton concerning the folklore of the Wild Hunt in literature and music:  My Search for the Wild Hunt
She also sends this: "Mornin' everyone, There will be a symposium at UC Santa Cruz sometime this summer (date not set) to celebrate the Grateful Dead archive opening. I seem to know a bit about Celtic Rock and the organizers asked me if I could present a bit about how the Dead have influenced this genre. I hear some evidence and have heard musicians talk, of course. What I'd like to do is interview a few Celtic rockers & present some musical examples. Could anyone assist by a) connecting me with Celtic rock musicians and b)pointing the way to a little funding...? (It's fine to pass this note on .. ) Thanks Lezlie"
