Hello everyone, this will be my last editorial. As of this month I am turning over the editorial staff to the capable and dedicated Ardys De Lu.  Ardys has been a part of TSCP from almost the very first day, always there with a kind word, a helping hand and as "Galley Mistress" for two plays. I will be assisting her with web issues and generally acting as chief hand-holder and tea provider until she is really comfortable with this site. I have enjoyed my tenure as "Yer Editrix" over the past three years.  At the first of the year, as I found myself in need of focusing upon other creative and career needs, I realized that it wast time to turn over the editorial staff.  Please make Ardys welcome, and send your essays, announcements and letters to her at starlightcircleplayers@yahoo.com. Please place "ST Submission" in the subject line.

I'll be moving on to setting up a peer reviewed journal concerning myth, folklore, and ritual within theater and performance at
https://sites.google.com/site/mythandtheatre/, please drop by. For submission guidelines and other information, including how to become a reviewer, please contact me at: spiritmasqueinfo-at-gmail.com.  To stay in touch with me, read some writings, and look at some art, drop by http://lezlie1.wordpress.com/.

This is a terrific issue, full of goodies from TSCP members and announcements from friends.  Be sure to check out the review page, the band site of the month, the Special Edgar Allan Poe Challenge in honor of the Venerable Mr. Poe's bicentenn
ial year.  And-- of course -- the casting page where you will find out what's happening over 2009, including Kay Pannell's Mustering Back, the 2009 Mummers, and -- just maybe- my own play, The Buried Moon.
Members! a special note encouraging you to contribute to TSCP's re-creation by sending input, attending the next meeting and sharing your ideas and criticisms.  Remember! This is a critical juncture for TSCP and The Future in is your hands! Meeting notes and agenda can be found here:

And, now ... a word from Yer Editrix, Ardys...

Starlit Tales is in flux, The Starlight Circle Players (TSCP) is in more flux.  These are hard economic times calling for many
changes.  In order to thrive  we must be strong and flexible.  TSCP needs to bend in order to from into new shapes. As your new editrix, I have had to learn blogging from Lezlie. This is exciting, and surprisingly simple. I want to learn good and creative things from all of you.

I am specifically referring to creative things such of music, art, playwriting, and song. Something that has not changed is the love for music, art, playwriting and song. TCSP addresses that love. A play that particularly excites me is Kay's PLAY  Mustering Back. l hope to write more about that in the future. Please tell me other sorts of musical. dramatic and such events TSCP members do and watch.  - You can reach me at <firedeer@sfo.com>- Ardys
