Mark Ungar (2006)
Axis of Blues will do an acoustic show at The Bistro in Hayward.Thursday, July 30, 2009 8:30pm - 11:30pm and Avalon Rising is playing at the Bistro SEPT. 5TH. Even though we promised to buy him a beer Scott will be unable to make it to this show. So Mark, Robert, and Kristoph will be an "acoustic" trio, sans drummer. We'll be phoning it in as usual, but we especially need your help for this unusual gig. How can I help, you ask? Simply by coming and drinking as much beer as possible. You'll feel better, and we'll sound better.

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer The Broadway Musical
I'm in the "orchestra" for this...should be a blast!  "Fun for the Family." This event is planned to start at 8:00 pm on Jul 17, 2009 at Fetterly Playhouse in Vallejo. Axis of Blues, the funky (smelling) blues/folk band featuring meself, Robert Hill, and Kristoph Klover, has a show booked at The Bistro in Hayward on July 30th. http://www.axisofblues.com/ Mark adds: Any drummers out there who'd like to play it with us? http://www.moremoose.com/

Herb de Grasse (2008 Facilitates: Fellowship of the Spiral Path  In Association with Gateway  Presents  A Gnostic Ritual for Mary Magdeline  She is portrayed wearing white & red, an underdress of unbleached homespun and a red overcoat. She holds a red egg and sometimes a skull representing the head of John the Baptist. She is considered to be a teacher of secret mysteries entrusted only to her by Jesus. We will use the Gnostic Teachings regarding her, rather than the Christian.  Tuesday July 7th, 2009 7:30 PM  Fellowship Hall of the BFUU  At the Corner of Cedar and Bonita Streets, Berkeley California [Free. Donations will be requested to pay for the hall rental.]

Tea & Plays
Thursday, August 6, 7 - 9 PM.
Please remember to be on time and to post your writings for discussion 48 hours in advance. Please note that we've returned to the Thursday schedule.   RSVP for address: doclezlie_at_gmail.com The idea is to be informal, but serious, meet once a month and work out scenes, read aloud, and to discuss what we need to do to make our writing work. Because this is about plays & TSCP only does musicals, directors and composers are welcome, but the focus is on writing. Poetry created for performance is welcome -- but -- it is not the main focus. TSCP will sponsor this monthly "Tea & Plays" as playwrights did found this troupe to do our work in, but (certainly) it isn't closed to people who
aren't TSCPers. We will move from home to home or meet in cafes. Grounds rules are: This is not a support group or a "critiquing circle" * Drop in and out as you need to, but stay long enough that we know who you are * No novels, novellas, shorts, or other prose. * Be kind, but honest.* Bring a snack. See you there, Lezlie
