To all Writers:
Tea And Plays.
A once a month gathering will commence in March of 2009.
The idea is to be informal, but serious, meet once a month and work out scenes, read aloud, and to discuss what we need to do to make our writing work.  Because this is about plays & TSCP only does musicals, directors and composers are welcome, but the focus is on writing.  As your hosts are both poets and as we also do poetry readings and performances, we agreed that poetry is welcome - but -  it is not the main focus.  TSCP will sponsor this monthly "Tea & Writing" as playwrights did found this troupe to do our work in, but it isn't closed to people who aren't TSCPers. Day, Time, Location is still to be figured out, but it'll be March - somewhere in the Berkeley/Albany/Kensington area.  After that, we can move from home to home or meet in cafes. In writing solidarity, Lezlie and Elaine
Grounds rules are:
This is not a support group or a "critiquing circle"
Drop in and out as you need to, but stay long enough that we know who you are
No novels, novellas, shorts, essays, memoirs, or other prose.
Be kind, but honest.
Bring a snack.
