Perhaps it is the fact that both Mercury and Mars are retrograde, (going backwards), or perhaps it is because I have been exposed to large amounts of an allergen, leading to headaches etc., but whatever the reason, I, your editrix, am a bit under the weather. The Goddess Cycle, a Ritual of Renewal , held in early February, not only sounds exciting, but the word 'renewal' is something I need. Early February is also called Imbolc, a pagan holiday at which the earth stirs from her winter sleep. Once winter solstice, 12/21, was not the first day of winter, but instead was called Midwinter. Along that line Imbolc would be spring.
