We are currently accepting applications for legal intern
positions with
California Lawyers for the Arts' Lawyer Referral Service (LRS) in the
San Francisco office. LRS refers clients to members of the C.L.A.
Attorney panel for consultation on a wide variety of art-related
matters such as copyright and trademark protection, contract review and
negotiation, business partnerships and nonprofit incorporation.
Interns will interview clients and perform case intake; they will draft
brief legal memoranda to attorneys, presenting the legal issues and
relevant facts, and locate appropriate attorneys for clients.
Interns will also assist with educational programs. Internships
are unpaid but we can provide an opportunity to earn credit through
your institution.

our dance program. Applicants must be prepared to choreograph and teach
an original composition in 10 rehearsals scheduled between now and the
end of March 2009. The hip hop choreographer will work with the
beginning / intermediate class which meets daily from 10:20 - noon. The
int / adv class meets from 12:45 - 2:15 and is looking for a

St. Lawrence University Visiting Assistant Professor in Creative NonfictionThe English Department at St. Lawrence
University invites applications for a one year leave replacement
position in creative non-fiction writing, with secondary interests in
fiction writing, the literary essay, or environmental writing. Three
course load per semester: two sections of our introductory craft
course, Creative Non-Fiction, a section of advanced creative
non-fiction writing, a section of Techniques of Fiction, and the
remaining courses in the instructor’s area(s) of specialization.
Preference given to candidates with Ph.D. or M.F.A. in hand, teaching
experience, and those who bring diverse cultural, ethnic, theoretical,
and national perspectives to their writing and teaching. The successful
candidate will join a department with a commitment to excellence in
teaching and to a program founded upon strong ties between the study of
