The Starkville Multi-Culture Lions Club was chartered in March, 2008 with 25 charter members from 11 different countries. The motto of this and all Lions Clubs is “We Serve.” Some ways we are serving the community include collecting eyeglasses at the Starkville Downtown Farmer’s Market, conducting vision screening and other health-awareness events, collecting donations to assist with the purchase of eyeglasses for residents who could otherwise not afford them, bell ringing for the Salvation Army, and keeping our roads clean through the "Adopt a Highway" program.
