THE PROJECT OVERVIEW
Welcome to My Great Space Western!
In 2008 I decided that I wanted to tell some kind of story based on elements from my favorite sci-fi stories, classic westerns, steampunk tales, and dash of Victorianism, and try to mash it all together into something cohesive. The result has been this project.
To make it more personal, I decided it would be fun to “cast” some of my friends in the “roles” of the characters. Basically trying to expound on the notion of “if I were in this type of extraordinary situation, what would I be like (or maybe want to be like would be more correct), and what would my friends be like also”? The characters each have their own story, and all are equally important to the overall story I want to tell, which is why I call it My Great Space Western.
Ultimately this endeavor is part story, part art, part RPG, and a large part family. And hopefully an excuse to have some fun also.
