Okada is the only residence in Wilbur that upperclassmen can draw into.  All others will be 100% freshman dorms.  This means that when you eat at the dining hall, you will be surrounded by freshman.  Of course, this is not a negative statement.  However, it means that you will probably not see your friends from other dorms around the dining hall.

All of the Wilbur buildings are exactly the same, consisting of three floors.  Okada has a male floor, a female floor, and a coed floor.  The rooms are either singles or one-room doubles, so they are not great.  However, many people enjoy the fact that it's a theme house.  Since it is an Asian theme house, the majority of students in the dorm are Asian with many international students, so it is often a great place to make friends from the same cultural background.  This is not to say that non-Asians are not allowed in the residents.  In fact, everybody has an equal chance of getting in.  That's why there are plenty of other ethnicities in dorm, but the large majority of residents are Asian.

In comparison to the other freshman residences, Okada is considered a "quiet" dorm.  There are probably many reasons behind this, but the biggest reason is that it's a four-class dorm.  Since upperclassmen usually take heavier courseloads than freshman, it is no surprise that they do not have as much time to party.  Current residents say that the dorm is "dead silent in the evening" on most days.
