Roble is a very popular choice for upperclassmen. Although there are 301 residents, only about 135 of the spots are for upperclassmen. The remaining spots are assigned to freshmen who live in three-room quads. Although only half of the spaces are available to upperclassmen, almost all of these rooms are singles, making it a very attractive dorm to draw into. In fact, Roble was so popular in the 2009-2010 draw, you had to draw in Tier 1 (the best tier) to get into the residence. Roble is also a very well furnished dorm, partly due to its size, equipped with a ballroom, a library, a game room, and even a seminar room. For those of you into fine architecture, Roble actually has quite a bit of painstaking care put into the designs on its stone columns, so that may be a point of attraction as well. Sometimes, small production teams put on plays, ballets, and other stage acts in the Roble ballroom. As a resident, you will have priority access to these facilities. | |||||||||||||||
