Lagunita Court is located on West Campus between Roble Hall and Governor's Corner. It consists of five residences, Naranja, Ujamaa, Eucalipto, Granada, and Adelfa. Lagunita Court is probably most famous for its Late Night services. While most dining halls close at around 8pm for the night, Lagunita Dining reopens at 9pm to serve students until 2am. There are two others place that offer such services--Axe and Palm, and Stern Dining. However, Lagunita is superior by a long shot. The only disadvantage is that it is far from the other residences. So if you live in any of the Lagunita Court dorms, you'll be blessed by one of the best dining halls on campus, as well as the best Late Night service around campus. Not only that, but if you have many classes in Gates, Hewlett, or any of the science-related classrooms in West campus, you will realize that they are very close to your dorm. In fact, you can probably get to those buildings four or five minutes faster than anybody on East Campus. While this many not seem like much, it makes a huge difference when you need to shuttle heavy books to and from your dorm and your classes. It also means you can drop by your dorm between classes which is almost impossible if you live on East Campus. | |||||||||||||||
