--Aki Kobashi - Business Plan
- Motivation -- Currently, information regarding housing is spread across multiple sites, and is often too detailed for the typical student, or contains jargon that may be unfamiliar to some students.
- Site development costs -- Initial site development will be costly because a large majority of the information will be on subjective matters, such as how good the food is.
- Site maintenance costs -- Maintenance costs are minimal, as the site only needs to be tweaked whenever housing policies change, which is not very often.
- Consumer Motivation
- Students will have a central place to look for most questions regarding their potential residences
- It will also act as an addressbook for major contact points
- Most
users will probably be frustrated with the currently available
resources (Stanford Housing site, and other documents that litter the
Residential Education sites)
