Servetus Issues

John Piper, a leading Reformed figure, wishes he did not have to apologize for Calvin's role in the Servetus affair. "That legacy of state and church intermingling has not served the Puritan history well." Piper says he looks to God's grace to see how we can make Calvin and his writings "useful" despite this action against Servetus.
