Stancombe Lodge and Crocus are tucked away in Stancombe's unspoilt valley in 21 acres of outstanding natural beauty including cider orchards, woodland and carefully kept gardens.  It is a place of peace, tranquillity and beauty as well as having facilities to keep even the most active member of the family busy.  Stancombe is conveniently located for both coast and moors.  Its nearest beach, Slapton Sands (pictured), is three miles away at Torcross, and Salcombe, Dartmouth, Kingsbridge and Totnes are within easy reach.

The two properties have been fully refurbished to a high standard and are regularly used by the owners.  Guests have said that they feel like home from home.

Stancombe's facilities are freely available to guests.  They include an indoor pool (13 metres x 6 metres), tennis court, snooker room, games room, pitch and putt, barbeques and children's play area.

Nearby you can visit award-winning beaches, pick up the coastal path or a local walk (details in the properties), explore the wilderness of Dartmoor, spend time at the many picturesque seaside villages, sail (2 miles to the nearest public slipway at Frogmore), visit National Trust properties or the nature reserve at Torcross (Slapton Ley), play golf at Thurslestone, Bigbury or Dartmouth and eat at great pubs and restaurants.
