Fifth-Grade Commitment Prayer for 2011
Our Commitment Prayer Fifth Grade – Class of 2015 As we begin the year, we commit ourselves to God and to each other. We pledge to use the gifts God has created in us to show each other and the world that we are followers of Christ. We pledge to be faithful citizens – witnesses to the Gospel values in our family, school, parish, community, nation, and world. We pledge to be the Word of God to one another, to focus our thoughts on things that are holy, and to help each other grow in faith. We will be Helpful - Honest/Truthful - Patient - Understanding Positive - Hopeful – Trusting/Trustworthy Caring/Loving - Respectful - Generous Courteous - Responsible - Fair - Courageous Inclusive - Self-Controlled - Forgiving - Honorable Creative - Listeners - Good Humors - Welcoming
All of these qualities will help us to - consider classmates’ feelings, ideas, and thoughts - believe in the value of one another - achieve in academics - work together to follow the rules of the school - make the school a great place to live and learn
