Human Resources Generalist About Us Performance Systems Development is located in gorgeous Ithaca, NY, with offices in Philadelphia and Meadville, PA. We are passionately committed to improving building performance by providing energy efficiency program managers, building performance professionals, and commercial property owners with the software, services, and training needed to achieve peak building performance and transform our energy economy. We grew by 30% last year, and we’re poised to grow by even more this year. We are currently seeking a Human Resource Generalist responsible for all aspects of Human Resources including: full cycle recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits, health & safety, payroll, policy and procedures, compliance and reporting. Key Responsibilities: · Talent Management: Actively promote and represent PSD throughout the local community and at large. Communicate with hiring managers through all phases of the recruiting process. Determine best method of recruiting a highly specialized workforce, documenting applicant flow EEOC data and candidate qualifications. Oversee the drafting of job descriptions, hiring requisitions and all forms of media advertising. Complete offers of employment, orientation and on-boarding. · Employee Relations: Work with all staff and management members to ensure all associates are treated in a fair and consistent manner. Ensure compliance to company policy and procedures, maintain appropriate documentation and follow up. Contribute to staff development and training initiatives, maintaining records of all certifications and industry standards. · Benefits: Responsible for the administration of all mandated and optional benefit programs including: health care, insurance, 401K, FSA, paid benefit time, FMLA, WC, STD/LTD, Cobra, and unemployment. · Performance Management: Oversee the performance management and pay for performance program. Assist managers with annual reviews, constructing Individual Development Plans where warranted. Handel all performance related discussions in a professional manner at all times. · Payroll & Accounting: Direct oversight of the payroll processing systems ensuring all regulatory compliance areas are up to date and well maintained.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years generalist experience. Ability to work independently and as part of an integrated team and remote team. Excellent attention to detail, organizational, analytical, oral and written communication skills are required. Able to handle confidential information, establish priorities and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: Seasoned professional with 5+ years of generalist experience. PHR / SPHR highly preferred. Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications. Will research, analyze, and evaluate Benefit and Compensation programs, with a primary focus on Benefits. Must be able to build strategy around retirement programs. Will manage and administer a comprehensive employee and executive Benefit program. Will oversee compensation to include merit pay programs, market analysis, competitive pay scales, job evaluations and descriptions. Responsible for all aspects of HRIS.
