Measuring Wheel
 Please call a few days ahead of a hike to let us know you are coming and to find out about any changesin hike location. Bring lunch, water and sturdy shoes. No dogs please.

Wed. May 23. The Propsters of Backpacker Magazine will make a Get Out More tour stop at The Sole Source in Harrisonburg from 6:30-8:00 p.m. They will review the latest and greatest gear and teach essential skills. Prizes, too! They will also promote the Great Eastern Trail.

Sunday, June 3. Ramseys Draft Trail. 8.6 miles. Moderate. Many stream crossings. Enjoy the good condition of the trail we’ve been working on. We will measure the middle section. Meet at Churchville TasteeFreez at 8:30 a.m. Contact: Lynn Cameron at slynncameron@gmail.com, or (540)234-6273.

Sun. July 1. Hone Quarry Ridge Trail from FR 85 near Flagpole Knob down to Hone Quarry Picnic Area. 7 miles. Downhill and easy. We will measure the trail. Sat. July 21. Key exchange hike on Shenandoah Mountain Trail from Rt. 250 to FR 95. 11 miles. Moderate. This will be a joint hike with Charlottesville Chapter. To avoid a long shuttle, we will start at opposite ends and exhange keys in the middle. Meet at Churchville TasteeFreez at 10:30. Leader:
