You can learn to sail, navigate, row, operate radio equipment and keep a boat in shape. There are many opportunities to cruise local waters or go sailing on long voyages far from home. You can apprentice to rig boats, kayak or acquire useful shipwright skills. You'll be active in camping, social events, tours, regattas, excursions, and seamanship contests. You'll also have a chance to develop maritime skills that could lead to careers later on. Sea Scouting is organized to promote better citizenship and to improve members' boating skills and knowledge through instruction and practice in water safety, outdoor social, and service experiences, and knowledge of our maritime heritage. You’ll never forget the year you joined the SEA SCOUTS!
