Star Sport RollEr skating institute (SSRE) is a sports school where we provide distinctive roller skating classes and training courses for all age groups. SSRE is a registered organization in Hong Kong since 2008, a year of Beijing Olympic Games in china. SSRE was founded by a group of sports coaches and physical activities educators, all members of SSRE are dedicated to sports especially the roller sports. Our goal is to establish a positive and healthy roller skating image and to promote the sport to all districts, schools and organizations of Hong Kong.

        Roller skating is a very popular physical activity in western countries. It was once very popular in Hong Kong too, especially in 1970s to 1980s. However, due to serial reasons, its popularity declined. In late 1990s, the development of inline roller skating and a new trend of skating skill – free style roller skating (slalom) resumed the popularity of this sport. The recovery results in roller skating became an official event of The World Games 2009 Kaohsiung and The 16th Asian Games 2010 Guangzhou.

        Some people may think that roller skating is too difficult and too challenging for them. The fact is, learning roller skating is more or less similar to learning how to ride a bicycle. The skill of roller skating is very easy to pick up, and once you pick up, you will never put it down in you life time.
