Unbridled Fury Reference and Land of Leonas Modifications v1.2 Additional rules and changes as of Unbridled Fury Core 0.7.1 Land of Leonas is a Unit/Squad based game, groups can be made of characters
and solo fighters however all other non-unique fighters must be
grouped into units of the same type. All Tds and Cow Checks are to be made by units rather than as individuals. Characters and Models with Command dice may join any unit they are within 3 inches of at either the beginning of an activation. At the end of the activation provided they are not in contact they may leave the unit. Opposed attribute tests, in the event that an opposed attribute test is needed both players roll a d12. The fighter that succeeds in their test and is closest to their attribute value is the winner. If both fighter fail the test is considered a failure for both. Wounded Models roll the next lowest die when making any rolls effected by wounds. ex. a D10 is rolled instead of a d12 when wounded or a d4 is rolled instead of a d6. A Lucky will still occur when the highest value is rolled on the die. Melee Combat Resolution simplified for Mass Combat
During the Command Check before each turn roll all command dice from all Commanders of the army, Only models that are actually assigned as the Commander or Sub Commander may have their dice included in the Command Roll, characters with command dice that are not actually commanding are not included. Once the dice are rolled the total result is used as normal however the individual dice for each commander are give back to the model the result indicating how many orders they may us on units they command. The Commander may use his activations to command any unit not under command by a sub commander. Sub Commanders may only use their available activations to command their units. Sub Commanders can order any unit that they are within 3 inches of. Sub Commanders may issue orders without joining the unit they are commanding. | Special Abilities Berserker When a fighter becomes wounded a Cow test is made. If the test is passed the fighter continues unhindered. If the roll is failed the wound takes effect as normal. Regardless of wither the Cow Test is passed or not mark the fighter with a wound marker. The next time a fighter take a wound the same test must be takes with a -1 Cow penalty equal to the number of wounds the models is marked with. As long as the fighter continues to pass their Cow Test they continue to fight unhindered. If however they fail a test and have accumulated enough wounds to have killed then they are then killed and removed from the field otherwise they are considered wounded and suffer the effects of being wounded. Charging Fire A fighter within 1 range band from an enemy unit may fire upon that unit and charge into melee in the same activation. The units ranged attacked is resolved then they are moved into contact. Control All fighters with Ravage can act normally as long as they are withing 12" of a model with control. They may also use the Controllers Tds and Cow values during checks. Forced March While in formation this unit may move an addition d6 during it activation this additional movement may not result in the unit contacting the enemy. May only be used once per active turn. Infection Any time a non infected model is killed during close combat it must roll an infection test. A d8 is rolled on a 6+ that model becomes infected by the Plague and joins the closest group of Infected Models. The newly infected model gains Infection and ravage it also retains all of its initial stats. Plague Fighter does not receive any penalties when they become wounded. Putrid Infection Once per turn a model with Putrid Infection my attempt to force an Infection test to all models within a 4" diamater or models within LoS up to 6" away. Attacker does not have to have line of sight to its target in order to fire as long as target is in their firing arc and at least one friendly model has a valid line of site to the target. A unit in formation as gains the Blast(1+X) attribute where X is the number of fighter that successfully hit. To perform a Volley Fire shot the attacking unit selects a target figure they have line of site to. All fighters that are able to fire roll their Shg Attribute. The Target rolls their Fgt skill once and the result is compared against all rolls, for every successful hit the Blast is increased by 1. Reckless ChargeRavage Only Profiles with Ravage may be included in a group of other profiles with Ravage.Models effected by Ravage may not act on their own at any time at least half of the unit is not within the control radius of a controller a COW is made if the roll is failed the group Ravages and moves and attacks if able the closest group. This action is automatic and performed before any other actions are taken. If a group with Ravage begins a turn outside of the control radius of a Controller it will move and attack the nearest unit if able. It occurs before any other actions are taken and does not count against the current action pool. When an enemy unit or units chooses to fall back in reaction to this unit moving into combat. The active unit may move an additional d6 inches toward the reacting unit or Units. If this brings the units into contact the reacting unit may not move and must stand and fight. All fighters in the active unit get +1 to there Fgt skill if they make contact with a reacting unit. Relentless When determining followup or fallback manuevers a d6 is rolled instead of the standard d4 Steadfast During the 1st Combat round in a melee for which this fighter was assaulted they receive a +2 bonus to their FGT stat.
