Commencing Fall 2007

Intercultural Management and Communications Courses

 Location: Victoria, BC and Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Client: Royal Roads University

Activities: Scott is designing and delivering courses in multicultural management and organizational behaviour to the undergrad and graduate level classes at the Faculty of Tourism, Royal Roads University. The BA course is to be held on campus in Victoria, and the master's level course at the residency being run in Dubai. Both courses are booked to begin in the fall. 

Commencing June 2007

E Learning and Classroom Training Program Design Advisory Services - Investment-level Monitoring and Reporting Tool (IMRT)

 Location: Ottawa

Client: Canadian International Development Agency 

Activities: Scott is providing consulting services for CIDA in developing and implementing a training program to train CIDA staff in the Investment-level Monitoring and Reporting Tool. Scott will be assisting the lead consultant, Werner Meiier of RBMG Consulting in the design and implementation of both a class-room and e-learning based variant of the program. 

February 2007 To May 2007

E Learning and  Correspondence Training Course For Evaluators

 Location: Toronto

Client: Bus Council of Canada

Activities: Scott is designing and building a course to train internal evaluators for the Bus Council of Canada, an HRSD funded sector council. He is designing a course, to run on the Modular Object Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment platform to evaluators in effective evaluation methodology including using observation and assessment in the evaluative process; and conducting assessment interviews. 

 

Commencing June 2007

Information Audit and Knowledge Management Advisory Services -  United Nations Regional Task Force On HIV and AIDS
 Location: Thailand, Cambodia,Lao PDR, and Vietnam

Client: United Nations

Activities: Scott is providing consulting services on the UN-funded Regional Task Force On HIV/AIDS Programme (CSEARHAP). This is an initiative sponsored by the United Nations in response to the issues annature of HIV vulnerability among mobile populations. Scott is preparing a study of the knowledge management needs for the Task Force and creating a strategic framework for the development of a knowledge management framework for the National Aids Authority in Cambodia.

 

June 2006 - May 2007

Knowledge Management and Communications Strategy Advisory Services - SEARCH (SE Asia Regional Cooperation in Human Development) project 

Location: Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, China, East Timor, Indonesia, and the Philippines 

Client: Canadian International Development Agency 

Activities: Scott is providing consulting services on the $9.2 million dollar CIDA-funded SEARCH project. He is analysing needs and designing project management and knowledge management software systems for the project team and the identified partners. Read more here.
