Report from the 2012 Member Dinner and Annual meeting. Everyone attending on Sat the 28th of Jan had a noter fine prime rib buffet at Tomato Brothers in Clarkston. It was a glorious day - warm & sunny down by the
riverside. We welcomed participants from far and wide (Seattle, Kettle
Falls, Cheney, Spokane, Culdesac, Winchester, Lenore, Pomeroy, Spirit Lake,
Deary, Moscow, Pullman, Palouse, Genesee, Grangeville, Lewiston,
Clarkston). It was wonderful to see so many returning faces while
simultaneously meeting new members, family, and guests. With everyone
pitching in to keep things moving, we ran 17 braces in two fields.
Clean-up was completed before 5:15p. 54 four-legged friends, as young
as 12 weeks and as old as 10 years, interacted with approximately 45 humans
between the ages 15 mos and 73 years young. A couple of our members
withdrew at the last minute so that opened up spaces for folks who just showed
up and waited around to see if they could run a dog or two. All in all, we
had a great time.
