 Note from BUMED

"On September 24, 2008, the Navy conducted soil sampling at the elementary school, former child daycare center, and family housing
towers closest to the former off-base Shinkampo incinerator site. These are the same areas of concern where soil samples were collected in 1998
to facilitate the issuance of the Final Health Risk Assessment.  The samples are now being tested for the same constituents of concern, heavy metals and dioxin, as the soil testing that was performed in 1998.
Test results for the September 24, 2008 soil sampling are expected to be received in late October 2008"
