If Possible Please Bring:   1 4-pack AAA Batteries and 1 Ream of plain white printer paper.

Each student will be assigned a calculator for use during most classes.  It is the student’s responsibility to notify me immediately if they find their calculator is broken.  Only in this way can we be sure that the correct student is responsible in paying the $115.00 replacement fee.  (This is what the district is charged for a replacement calculator.)  If you accidentally break a calculator you will be responsible for the replacement fee.  However, please let me know immediately.  I will not be angry with you.  I simply want to make sure that everyone has a calculator that works properly.

We will work together this year to ensure that you have the opportunity to reach your highest possible ability level in this class.  It is important to you, your parents, and to me that you not only pass the TAKS test, but that you achieve the very highest quality work that you can in preparing for the next grade level.
I hope that you enjoy this class and have a good 2009-2010 school year. I will try to make it as interesting and pleasant as I can and I expect you to make the same effort. Feel free to e-mail or call me if any questions or concerns develop anytime this year.
