Fisher Music Center 3711 Woodward Avenue Detroit, Michigan 48201 | Violin Books 2 and 3 – Teacher Development Courses The Book 2 Teacher Development Course will cover all of Suzuki Book 2 as well as techniques, group class ideas, parent education and Suzuki philosophy as it relates to Book 2. Attendance at all classes is mandatory for registration with the Suzuki Association of the Americas. All participants are required to have passed the Book 4 audition DVD. The Book 3 Teacher Development Course will cover all of Suzuki Book 3 as well as techniques, group class ideas, parent education
and Suzuki philosophy as it relates to Book 3. Attendance at all classes is mandatory for registration with the Suzuki Association of the

Teacher Training "Every Child Can" is a one day introductory course on the Suzuki philosophy and its application to education. For parents, teachers, prospective teachers and others, this course provides an inspiring, in-depth look at the Suzuki approach to teaching and learning.
For teachers, ECC serves as the first course in the Suzuki Association of the Americas Teacher Development Program.
Teacher Training: Violin Book 1 – Apprenticeship Course will cover all of Suzuki Book 1 (revised edition) as well as group class techniques, parent education and an in depth look into Suzuki philosophy. Apprentice Course participants will also be required to observe 15 hours of lessons and group classes.
Teacher Training: Violin Book 2 – Apprenticeship Course will cover all of Suzuki Book 2 (revised edition) as well as group class techniques, parent education and an in depth look into techniques specific to Book 2. Apprentice Course participants will also be required to observe 8 hours of lessons and group classes.
Teacher Training: Violin Book 3 – Apprenticeship Course will cover all of Suzuki Book 3 (revised edition) as well as advanced group class techniques, note reading and early ensemble ideas, and an in depth look at techniques specific to Book 3. Apprentice Course participants will also be required to observe 8 hours of lessons and group classes.
