Hello my name is S. Arun Kumar and I am from Madurai.

I was born and brought up at Madurai, the Temple City, in the Tamil Nadu State of India. I had all my education at Madurai. Upto Std. IV, my schooling was at Harvey English School, after which till Std. XII, when I completed my schooling, Chetana Mat. Hr. Sec. School was what I was attached to. (more on my schooling...)

Getting through the rigorous Tamil Nadu Professional Courses Entrance Examination (The TNPCEE), I took up the Bachelor's Course in Engineering in the Mechanical Engineering discipline, at SACS M.A.V.M.M. Engineering College, located near the serene Azhagar Kovil Hills in Madurai. (more on my graduation in Engineering...)

In spite of my earlier interest in becoming a scientist (it does raise its head frequently!), I didn't do any postgraduate studies in mechanical or allied engineering, for I knew the outcome if I'd write the GATE exam (!), which is a pre-requisite to join PG Engineering course.

I suddenly found me writing the entrance exam to join one of the two management schools viz., the Thiagarajar School of Management (TSM) Madurai, and Regional Engineering College (REC) Tiruchi. 

I got through the entrance and other personality and behavioural tests conducted by TSM, and lo I was put in the waiting list for MBA Admission.

And one day, TSM offered me a seat in the newly begun Masters course in Industrial Management. It was called the Master of Studies (M.S.) in Industrial Management. Well! It came by, and I took it after much hesitation. God! I didn't regret, at least as regards the course in general. (more on my management course...)
