I received a PhD in Computer Science from PUC-RIo in 2010. My thesis was about the correspondence between Parsing Expression Grammars (PEGs) and Context-Free Grammars (CFGs), and my advisor was professor Roberto Ierusalimschy.
Before, I got master's and bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, under the supervision of professor David Déharbe.
My main research interest is in the area of Programming Languages and my current research is related to PEGs.
Currently I am also the coach for the teams of my university in ACM Collegiate Programming Contest.
