We were married on June 8, 2008 at Henderson Beach State Park in Destin, FL. The whole day was gorgeous and beautiful...until time for the ceremony! We had to wait out a thunder and lightning storm for about 45 minutes. After the storm had passed, we had the most gorgeous sky background and it was cooler than it had been before. Our guests didn't seem to mind the wait! I was a very calm bride; my groom was a little aggravated at the weather. I was just happy the day had come; we had dated for 8 years before we were engaged!
