Welcome Winter Start, New Officers, and ForKids Program

The Nursing Club is looking for new officers! The club will be accepting nominations for officer positions and voting will commence on February 6th. Take the next few weeks to consider which positions you may be interested in. The following positions are available:

 

 

President: Coordinate monthly meetings for the students belonging to the club; act as a representative in contact with Clubs and Organizations ; manage the daily workings of keeping the club up and running and transitions to new office holders.

Vice-President: In an equal partnership with the President to coordinate monthly meetings for the students belonging to the club; act as a representative in contact with Clubs and Organizations ; manage the daily workings of keeping the club up and running and transitions to new office holders.

Treasurer: Keep track of allowed expenses for meetings and events; keep track of receipts from all club purchases.

Secretary: Maintain the minutes for monthly meetings and officer meetings.

Webmaster: Maintain the website and send out emails to keep members informed.

 

Please do not forget. The Nursing Club will be helping out at the Thurston County Food Bank with the ForKids Program the 4th Tuesday of each month from 3:30 - 5:00 pm. The first volunteer day wil be Jan 24th. The FORKids program provides elementary-age children with food bags to take home over the weekend so they can arrive at school on Mondays ready to learn, and not focused on hungry stomachs.
