Reflections Art Contest

It is time for the 2011-12 National PTA-sponsored Reflections Art Program! The program is free and open to all Spring Valley students, K-5, and we encourage all of you students to participate in this opportunity to exercise your artistic talents and create a work of art that will show your audience what diversity means to you.  Click here for General Student Participation Rules.

Entries may be submitted in the following six categories (click to see rules for each category):

Students are encouraged to submit more than one entry. An official entry form must be submitted with each entry. A panel of judges will forward selected entries to the District PTA for participation in the next level of the national competition.

If a person’s recognizable image or voice is included in the submission, please also have them sign the Consent Form.

First Entry Submission Date: Monday, September 26, 2011

Second Entry Submission Date: Monday, October 24, 2011

Third (and FINAL) Entry Submission Date: Monday, November 21, 2011

 

Paper forms can be picked up in the school office, PTA Corner.

  • DO NOT PUT YOUR NAME ON THE FRONT OF YOUR ART PROJECT
  • COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL (e.g. Disney characters) MAY NOT BE USED
  • STUDENT AND PARENT SIGNATURES ARE REQUIRED ON ENTRY FORM
  • INCLUDE EMAIL ADDRESS ON ENTRY FORM
