Andrew W. Richardson is a Principal and the CEO of Greeley and Hansen, an environmental engineering firm specializing in water and wastewater. He oversees all business operations and directs implementation of the firm’s strategic plan. In addition, he is Chairman of the Board of Directors and leads the firm’s Executive Management Team.
Prior to being named CEO, Mr. Richardson was the Director of Greeley and Hansen’s southwestern operations and served as a project director and project manager for Greeley and Hansen projects across the country. During his more than 30 years at Greeley and Hansen, Mr. Richardson has been involved in the planning and design of a wide range of municipal water and wastewater programs and projects, covering almost every aspect of an engineering project -- from feasibility studies through construction and start-up commissioning. These projects have included the upgrade of New York City’s 300-mgd Newtown Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant, the City of Los Angeles’ LA-Glendale Water Reclamation Plant Expansion, and the City of Phoenix’ 80-mgd Lake Pleasant Water Treatment Plant. Mr. Richardson was also Project Director for many innovative and award-winning projects, including the City of Las Vegas’ Northwest Water Resource Center, which received the National Water Reuse Association’s 2002 Project of the Year award.
Mr. Richardson is actively involved in numerous local and national professional associations and societies, and he has served in many key executive committee and leadership positions, including:

The author of over three dozen technical papers, Mr. Richardson has given presentations at numerous national and international water and wastewater conferences. He has also been a lead or contributing author to three water reuse publications: AWWA’s Manual of Practice M24 “Dual Water Systems”, AWWA/WEF’s Guidance Manual “Using Reclaimed Water to Enhance Potable Water Resources’ and the Council for Agricultural and Science Technology (CAST) Special Publication “Water Quality and Water Quantity Issues for Turf Grasses in Urban Landscapes.” A registered professional engineer in several states and a Board Certified Environmental Engineer, Mr. Richardson has a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering as well as a MBA in Finance.
