BALLROOM DANCING (BEGINNER)

Our expanded Ballroom Dancing courses open to Beginners and Intermediates. Beginner’s course is an introduction to popular Swing, Jitterbug, and Lindy (Triple Swing). Latin American rhythms, Cha-Cha, Rumba, the popular Tango and Meringue will be introduced. Time is given to steps and styling in American Waltz. Foxtrot and Swing. Also included is the popular disco dancing with the disco hustle and some line dancing, great dances for weddings and parties.

A second course to increase your pleasure and experience with dances described in our beginners course with the addition of the styling you need to create a picture of perfection and confidence on the dance floor!
COMPUTER APPLICATIONS

A basic, “hands on” course that provides a comprehensive overview of the many applications including word processing, database, and spreadsheet applications. This course designed for the novice and intermediate user; will provide a solid foundation in the use of the aforementioned applications. If you are new to the computer world or would like to strengthen your computer application skills, this is the course for you.
MICROSOFT OFFICE (UNDERSTANDING WINDOWS XP)
Starts Tues., Jan. 26 ETR-LMC 8 Tuesdays, 7:00-9:00PM Instructor: Jim Wurster $60
Participants in this course will work with the many applications contained in this versatile interactive program including WORD, EXCEL, POWER POINT, and ACCESS. This is a great introductory course for the individual interested in understanding a very effective computer application tool. A review of the Windows XP components will also be covered in this course.
WEB PAGE DESIGN

Compose and design your own web page for personal or business use. This is your opportunity to construct a personal statement with script and graphics that are reflective of your personal needs. A basic “hands on” course that overviews the skills and tools necessary to make your mark on the internet. Need a design for your business – resume profile – personal family page – this is the course for you!
BUYING AND SELLING ON EBAY

Ebay has become one of the most accessed internet sites to buy and sell a host of items at prices that are reflective of their contemporary value. Participants will learn the basics of navigating the Ebay site and "smart" strategies to employ for searching and purchasing items listed. Procedures for displaying and listing items will be presented.
IRISH COUNTRY DANCING

TAI CHI CHIH

T’ai Chi Chih is joy through movement. During the sessions participants are guided through a moving meditation to assist in bringing balance to all aspects of one’s life. The movements may help to reduce stress, improve overall health, increase concentration and creativity, and lead to an appreciation of the interconnectedness of all things. Please wear comfortable clothing. Taught by an accredited T’ai Chi Chih Instructor.

Stimulate your senses, calm your mind, strengthen and stretch your body. Yoga postures taught in a flowing, meditative manner with attention to proper alignment and personal physical conditioning. Coordinate deep breathing with flexibility, strength and posture-enhancing movements to improve overall sense of well-being. Benefits may be improved concentration, balance, flexibility, strength, posture, breath control, and reduced stress. All ages and abilities can experience the benefits. Please bring a mat or towel.
