SPRING 2010 - COURSE OFFERINGS
AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE - BEGINNER I
Starts Tuesday, Jan. 26 ETR Rm. 120 10 Tuesdays, 7:00-9:00PM ~ $125 Learn key principles of American Sign Language (ASL). Direct student/teacher interaction.
This class includes introducing self, exchanging personal information, talking about surroundings,
sharing where you live and talking about family.
AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE - BEGINNER II
Starts Thursday, Jan. 28 ETR Rm. 120 10 Thursdays, 7:00-9:00PM ~ $125 Review of Beginner I, increase ASL vocabulary, focus on describing others, talking about activities, and how to make requests. Prerequisite: successful completion of Beginner I or through placement evaluation.
AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE - INTERMEDIATE IV
Starts Thursday, Jan. 28 ETR Rm. 119 10 Thursdays, 7:00-9:00PM ~ $145 Review of Beginner levels. This class includes talking about health, telling about life story,
and sharing about weekend and travel plans.
Prerequisite: successful completion of Beginner II or through placement evaluation.
PLACEMENT EVALUATION: Please call 610-604-0450 to make an appointment.

For class enrollment, please make tuition payment to the Springfield Lions Club.
Textbook will be available for purchase. It is highly recommended, but not required.
The cost is $65 which includes the book with first three levels of ASL and two DVDs.
