Friends of Sprague Public Library Buffet Luncheon

Saturday May 5, 2012

12:00 pm


The Community Room of the historic Grist Mill will be decorated with a Silpada demonstration and basket raffle.

Tickets are $15 per person and $8 for children under 10

This event is for families to come and have a fun afternoon and enjoy each others company.

Tickets may be purchased at the library.

All proceeds will benefit the library, as this is a fundraiser.

Fiction Addiction Book Club


We will meet on Wednesday May 16 at 6PM in the library. 

we will be discussing "We Need to Talk About Kevin" by Lionel Shriver.




 Extra copies of the book selection will be available at the front desk.  Please call with any questions. Hope to see you there!


   


The Yarn Club         

If you like to knit or crochet and want good company, we’re your group!  If you would like to learn, we’re your group, too!  Join us as we share tips and hints, lessons and patterns and teach each other everything from the basics to advanced stitches. 

Join Karen and Chris every other Saturday for a fun relaxing afternoon and complete a new project at the same time.  For more information call the library at 860-822-3012.

Afternoon Delight Book Club

Join the Afternoon Delight Book Club! It meets the first Wednesday of each month at 3:30PM at the library.  Each month there are at least two books to choose from and you decide which to read  - or you could choose to read both! Refreshments are always served and the discussions are  interesting and enjoyable.  
 

The April book is Little Pink House by Jeff Benedict.
The book discussion will be on Wednesday April 4th at 3:30pm.

The books for May are Now You See Her by James Patterson and The Worst Hard Time  by Timothy Egan
