While many modern Lutherans pursue various religious fads, you will find with us instead a liturgical, reverent, consistent, orthodox, and Bible-based practice and teaching. We believe in the Bible to be the inspired(2 Tim 3:16) Living(Heb 4:12) Word of God. We also recognize Luther's Small Catechism and the Book of Concord to be in accordance with the Word of God. Since we are a small and growing mission church, the pastor and everyone will quickly know your name! Time & Location We meet Sunday mornings at 9:00am for Divine Service and Bible Study at Germanna Community College. From I-95 exit 126/126B take 17 south. After 17 turns east and crosses over I-95, take a left at the traffic light on to Germanna Drive. Proceed all the way down that street to the end. We meet in the Workforce Development and Technology Building on the northeast side of the campus. GPS Warning We have received reports that at least one GPS navigator (Garmin, TomTom, etc.) does not have the correct location for Germanna Community College. Please familiarize yourself with the above map, before using a GPS system alone to find the church location on Sunday mornings. The GPS device may guide you to the correct street (Germanna Dr.), but it may not guide you all the way to the end of the street where the Germanna campus is located. The street name has also been undergoing change. It's old name is Germanna Point Drive while the new name is simply Germanna Drive. Bible Study The adult topic will vary from week to week and can be topical or a verse-by-verse or chapter-by-chapter study of a book from the Bible. We are currently surveying the Book of Concord which is bringing up a wide variety of contemporary issues and their biblical sources. We always address any timely questions from the congregation too--making application of God's Word to daily life. Please join us and bring along a Bible if you have one. We publish the overhead PowerPoint notes weekly so participants can look up and read more in depth during the week if they choose. We look forward to seeing you there! The children continue to learn traditional Bible stories from the Old and New Testaments using the very Lutheran curriculum Christ-Light from NPH, as well as memorization of Luther's Small Catechism and hymns out of the Lutheran Service Book (hymnal) that will last them a lifetime.
