Hi, I'm Sportsmaniac07, and yes I am a sports maniac - especially when it comes to sports simulations. When playing sports games on a gaming console, I constantly find myself playing the role of a coach and simming games rather than playing them first-hand. So when I stumbled across WhatIfSports.com I felt like I had hit the jackpot.

For those of you who are not familiar with this site, it was created in order to simulate games between past and present teams. You can choose from among MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, NCAA Football, and NCAA Basketball and simulate games between teams of almost any era. When you choose to simulate, a full boxscore is rapidly created which includes play-by-play of the entire game and any statistics you would find in normal boxscore.

For the purpose of this site, I have decided to simulate the real life seasons of each of these sports, starting with NCAA Football year 2007. As often as possible, I will simulate games and post the resulting boxscore. All you have to do is come back periodically to check up on how the season is shaping up. Who knows, your favorite team might win Sportsmaniac07's NCAA Championship!

This site is still very much under construction. For now I have decided to only simulate games for the six BCS conferences (ACC, Big 12, Big East, Big 10, Pac-10, SEC) for sake of time. So far I have simulated the first game for each team in the Big 12, but will hopefully be adding to that very quickly. To view the results of these games, all you have to do is follow the links to the Big 12 Conference, choose one of the teams, and then click on the result of the game. This will lead you to a page showing the full box score.

I would greatly appreciate any input on what you like about the site, and more importantly what you think I should do better. I am completely open to ideas and it doesn't even have to have to do with simulating real life schedules. If it's in high demand, I could create a season involving teams from many different eras.
