...helps the medicine go down!

I firmly believe that a little bit of sweetness, kindness, love, and joy go a long way! My hope is to share some joy and sugar with you as I have adventures following God in medicine and life.

On the left are my blog links...
My general blog is a Daily Dose of Di, some of my thoughts on following God are under Charite Service, Creole Cookin' contains my recipes that I've attempted in Haiti, and my medical stories and reflections (in medicalese, or med jargon) are housed at Medical Mysteries.

Here's my current adventure...
I am a physician assistant from SC serving in Haiti for a year. I work with Global Partners, the missions arm of the Wesleyan church. I arrived in Port Au Prince in November for a month of Creole language study. I spent December settling into Anse-a-galets, La Gonave, and working in a hospital and orphanage there.  My dream is to infuse first world standards through setting up a CME (continuing medical education) program into the hospital system and for those orphans to grow up knowing that God and Diane love them.
After a devastating 7.0 earthquake on Jan. 12th, I have been working in a medical relief clinic just south of Port Au Prince.

How to Help... If you'd like to contribute to our disaster relief efforts, 100% of the monies go to food, water, and medicines for quake victims... For more info, check out:

Thanks for visiting and I'd love to hear about your adventures, too!
