What is the CHETI Sponsorship Program?
 The CHETI Sponsorship Program (CSP) was created to find individual sponsors for underprivileged children in Arusha, Tanzania. Sponsors will financially support the child’s education, and also encourage, motivate and inspire these children to become leaders of Tanzania’s future. Founded in 1997, CHETI is a NGO established to bring health and education to the children within the slums of Arusha, Tanzania. The school was founded by Zuma Mtui, and currently includes four different schools, eight teachers and approximately 300 students across the Nursery and Primary levels. With a heart of gold, Zuma has supported about 50 students through his private school, students who otherwise would have no way of getting through school or have no one else to care about their success and future.
Students who attend CHETI will learn English and will therefore be able to move forward into secondary school. Hopefully, these students will come out with a solid background and inspiration to continue with their education. |
