Hair Loss I am hooked on the drinking water Fruit 2'O which is sweetened with
Splenda. I drink at least four to five bottles a day. My tongue is always
sore, and the inside of my mouth is lined with small blisters, and I know it's
from this drink, but I can't stop drinking it. I can't eat any spicy foods or
food that has any acid in it at all (even catsup) because it burns the inside of
my mouth so bad because of the blisters. I am hoping one of these days I can
break this habit of having to have it. My hair has also been falling out by the
hands full and that's not normal for me. Has anyone else had any symptoms of
hair loss from Splenda?

I have been drinking the diet powdered lemonade with Splenda, and my tongue
has been sore and sensitive for the last three months. Also my hair falls out
in chunks, and I have a lot of hair . . . thank god, so you can't
notice.
I thought maybe I had anemia but after seeing these blogs I am almost certain that this is the cause. Plus the diet lemonade with Splenda has acid. Plus I used to eat spicy hot food and I can't even have a taste cause my tongue hurts so bad all the time. ===
I started taking Splenda a while ago. I really thought I was doing the
best to control my sugar level using Splenda. For my own surprise, I started
losing my hair. I have now a terrible hair loss which I don't even know if I
will ever be able to recuperate my long and thick hair again. I feel very
depressed about this.

I recently stopped drinking pop and cappuccino. Replaced these with fruit
and yogurt smoothies. Now I have heart palpitations. This was sudden onset. I
also notice to a lesser degree the following: blurry vision, aching finger
joints, weight gain in spite of exercise, bladder difficulties, slightly
thinning hair, and jaw tenseness and pain. I wonder if it is the sucralose in
the yogurt! Today I am changing my eating and doing away with the sucralose. I
hope it helps me.

I have been using Splenda for 4-5 years. I have leg and foot cramps, and
hair loss. The hair loss is the latest thing I am coping with. Have you heard of
hair loss before?
