The group was originally named Spiritual Cafe, meetings began in October 2007 at the Grand Cafe, Toscamar, Javea, the initial idea being that of two very spiritual ladies - Sandra and Vera. Unfortunately Sandra became too ill to run the group and Vera was busy with plans to move away from the area.

Early 2008, the name was changed to Spiritual Friends with the venue and times unchanged.
In March 2009 we moved premises - from then on meetings were held in the function room at the rear of Bar Mediterraneo in Avd.del Mediterraneo, Teulada.
In November 2009, we moved again. Due to the function room in the Bar not always being available for our meetings we had to find an alternative and permanent venue. So we have moved to Restaurante Los Leones, Solpark Tenis, Moraira.

The group is non-religious - we meet to discuss and learn spiritual and holistic subjects. Each week we have a different speaker and the subjects are varied. See the home page for a report on the previous and the forthcoming events. On the occasions when we do not have a speaker we have discussions or readings within the group.

We meet up each Wednesday at 2pm (14.00) the meeting starts at 2.30pm (14.30) and usually runs for two hours after which we retire to the bar for a drink and general discussion.

All are welcome to come along and join in our meetings. It is not necessary to attend every week, just come along as and when you are able to do so. There is no fee to join the ´club´ but we do offer our speakers funds to cover their travelling expenses and we pay rent for the venue, so a donation of 5euros per person on entry is appreciated. We are a non-profit making group, therefore any surplus funds are donated to charity as and when sufficient is accumulated.
