Imagine being floated in 98 degree water, moments of stillness vary with slow rhythmical movements, currents of warm water caress your skin as you are gently stretched and massaged, freeing the body, relaxing the mind, and awakening the spirit.
The warmth and buoyancy of the water allows the relaxation of muscles while supporting the whole spine. The therapeutic benefits of Aquatic Massage include gentle, yet deep stretching, a decrease of muscle contraction and tightness, while increasing range of motion and elongation of the spine. Circulation is often increased and obvious assistance in pain management realized. A state of deep clarity and self awareness is promoted.
Aquatic Massage is a blend of Elaine Marie's years of experience as a Massage and Watsu instructor and therapist. Aquatic Massage classes are offered here at Spirit Lake.
