I spotted this Red Tail Hawk from the window one morning and quickly grabbed my camera to snap a picture. The bird seemed to be "fussing" with something in it's talons. I couldn't tell what it was. ( click the image to enlarge them )  I spooked it and it took off away from me......  The hawk pulls it's prey in close to help streamline its flight. |   Even though this is a little out of focus, you can clearly see that it was a squirrel in it's grasp.  It's all part of Nature's plan. Some are predators...some are prey. |
