AN EMERGING SPIRITUALITY: LAMENT- HOPE/IMAGINATION - TRANSFORMATION

The main aim of this session is to address and reflect on a new emerging Christian spirituality. The session will explore in creative ways four movements of spirituality that are rooted in biblical tradition: Lament - Hope/Imagination - Transformation will reveal an innate power to inspire inspire, instruct, bind people together and to provide a spiritual path that may assist people to make sense of their stories, bringing healing and enriching their spiritual journey. These movements will be explained in an imaginative blend of group discussion, visual meditations and personal reflection.
Leader: Ernesto Lozada-Uzuriaga Steele. Ernesto assists people to discern their path in their own journey, becoming a spiritual companion to fellow travellers. He has travelled the UK and abroad leading retreats, workshops and seminars on the subject of spirituality and imagination. Ernesto studied Social Anthropology at San Marcus University, theology at Seminario Teologico de Lima and trained for the ministry at Wycliffe Hall, Oxford. He is co-founder and trustee of the Ark-T Centre, Oxford as well as an ordained Anglican priest serving as a Team Leader at the
Ecumenical Church of Christ the Cornerstone.

An opportunity to enhance your prayer life - and your ability to help others to do the same. We will consider a variety of approaches to prayer, and reflect togther on our experiences. There will be plenty of practical ideas to experiment with and some quiet time to spend as you choose.

The New Tracks day will provide a safe space in which, with others, you can exlore your experience and how you feel about it. You will have the opportunity to look at what 'vocation' might mean for you at this point of transition and there will also be time for personal reflection.
